TRACIE YRIGOYEN - Soccer Trainer
Coach Yrigoyen is one of long islands finest high school athlete, collegiate athlete and turned coach. Coach Tracie has been coaching for over 25 years on Long Island. As Varsity Coach of the Commack High School girls squad, Coach Tracie has been named league coach of the year several times and has produced some of the best D1 collegiate athletes to come off the island who are still currently playing, playing professionally and or are now coaches themselves at the local or even collegiate level. Coach Tracie has coached numerous teams at all levels both girls and boys for numerous organizations and clubs all over Long Island over the past two decades. Tough, determined, successful, experienced and knowledgeable are some of the very few characteristics of one Long Islands finest. Coach Yrigoyen has served on the SCGSCA board with Coach Mike Reilly for well over a decade and helped revive the Senior All-Star coaching the Suffolk Teams as well. Below was taken from the University of Rhode Island where Coach Yrigoyen was one of its finest players all-time. After college, Tracie went onto play in the only women's professional team at the time locally in the USISL (a time when it was truly competitive) for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders winning 2x National Championships.

College (Player) - 4year starter, 2 year captain, Athletic Scholarship, NEWISA All Star, NCAA –All New England. MVP Offense, UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE 10/03.
Professional (Player) - Tracie went onto play in the only women's professional team at the time locally in the USISL (a time when it was truly competitive) for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders winning 2x National Championships and the first ever declared Womens Professional Soccer League National Championship.

University Of Rhode Island To Induct 10 Into Athletic Hall of Fame 2003
Tracie Yrigoyen graduated from Rhode Island in 1992 and finished her career as the fifth all-time leading scorer in Rhode Island soccer history. A two-time captain for the Rams, she scored 35 career points with 17 goals and one assist. Her 17 career goals still rank fifth on the school's all-time list. She was named an All-New England performer and a WICA All-Star in 1991 and again in 1992. As a sophomore and junior, she helped lead Rhode Island to a pair of seven-win seasons under coach Wendy Veeder. After graduating from Rhode Island, she went on to play for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders from 1994-96, helping the squad to the USISL Women's Semi-Professional soccer championship in 1994 and again in 1996. As the head girl's soccer coach at Commack High on Long Island, she has guided the team to several conference championships. She also served as a coach in the Empire State Games and is a coach in the Long Island junior soccer league. She received her master's degree with a near-perfect 3.99 G.P.A. from SUNY Stony Brook in 1997.
