Coach Amanda is a former collegiate D1 athletes, high school all-state 1st team and HS Soccer scholar All-America player who also currently plays for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders. A long islander through and true, Amanda has played her entire soccer career here on the island and continues to do so as mentioned above. An absolute standout for Coach Mike Reilly at Islip High School in Suffolk County. In doing so, was a multi All-State player, NSCAA Academic All-American, MSG Varsity Tri-State Team Selection and a Newsday All-Long Island Selection. During her 5 year varsity tenure, Amanda helped her Lady Bucs to 5 League Titles and 3 Suffolk County Titles. During her high school career, Amanda was considered by many the top Sweeper on the Island. Coach Amanda continued her collegiate career starring somewhat locally at D1 Wagner College helping the Seahawks qualify for the Northeast Conference tournament her freshman year (2013) for the first time since 1997... After a four year career and an intense PA Program at Wagner, Amanda is now a Physicians Assistant at a local hospital. Coach Buck still plays semi-professional and has re-signed with the Long Island Lady Rough Rider again this season after being named its Team MVP playing in every match. Coach Buck graduated with honors from Wagner and is currently a PA in many different settings including the ICU and Emergency Rooms. Coach Amanda has worked with our intramural and U9 Academy Teams.
